The hotel is a great place for large groups up to 40 persons. There are 15 rooms with a total of 39 beds and comfortable area to meet or relax. Group gatherings are usually held in the gazebo. The 8 hammocks normally in our gazebo are easily removed and we have sufficient sitting for 30 and 40 persons confortably. We cater to university and high school groups, missionary groups and others who have low key activities that do not affect other hotel guests. We can arrange various types of tours and lectures. Please let us know your interest and we will try to prepare for your needs.

Directions to the Hotels: From Flores or Santa Elena, follow the signs to Tikal. About thirty kilometers from Flores or one mile past the intersection with the road to the Belize border, you will enter the wood carving village of El Remate. David's hotel is on the left, about 300 yards after passing the craft shops. The shops are the first buildings on the left as you enter El Remate by the little park.

From Belize: Crossing the border at Melchor-Benque, the road is being paved, making the road from the border to Tikal and El Remate completely paved. It is about 60 km and takes about 1 hour by car, slightly more by bus. The hotel is about 2 km on the left from the intersection of the roads to Flores, Tikal, and the border.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your prepaid reservations you will receive a return of 80% of your payment if you have notified us in writing 30 days before your reservation date, Or 50% of your payment if you have notified us in writing 15 days before your reservation date, Or 25% of your payment if you have notified us in writing 10 days before your reservation date. No refunds if you have not notified us in writing before reservation date.
