3. Prices

At La Casa De Don David we operate differently from other hotels – the rates listed on this site are the best and lowest we offer. Currently they are 15-25% less than the authorized INGUAT (Guatemala Institute of Tourism) rate for our hotel. Room prices are listed in US Dollars and are valid through 2013.

Room prices are per person, per night, are inclusive of 22% tax (IVA and INGUAT) and are based on two persons per room. One meal (breakfast or dinner) is included in the room price. Drinks and desserts are not included, and all other meals and extras must be paid for separately.

If only one person occupies the room, we add $7.00 to the room price – for more details, see our Rooms + Rates pages.

La Casa De Don David reserves the right to review its prices from time to time. You will pay the room price as quoted at the point of room reservation. Note that quoted room prices at the La Casa De Don David may change up to the date of your arrival.

For details of our most current room prices please check our rooms & rates pages or contact us directly.

6. Electricity Supply

In case of electricity failure, La Casa De Don David has a generator for temporary emergency electricity. This only supplies electricity to the restaurant and main areas, and use of a small light in the rooms. During loss of electricity, you will not have A/C, warm water or use of power outlets in the room, and the generator can be noisy for some rooms. However, we do not run the generator after 9-10 pm or before 5:30
